Naan Recipe
Naan is a leavened, oven-baked flatbread found in the cuisines mainly of Western Asia, South Asia, Indonesia, Myanmar and the Caribbean. Usually had with red and green gravy recipes such as Korma Makhanwala, MIx vegetable, etc
Materials
- 250 gms maida
- Handful Coriander leaves for garnish
- 2 tbsp refined oil
- 50 gms curd
- 2 tbsp milk
Instructions
- Mix the maida, curd, milk refined oil and make a soft dough.
- Cover with the cotton cloth and take some rest 30 mins.
- After 30 min to the dough make a small ball 6-7 naan and rest 4-5 min.
- Gently roll to oval shape using rolling pin. grease the naan with water and slowly flip over and put it on hot tawa and press slightly.
- Now after a minute, flip the tawa upside down and cook naan directly on flame till they turn golden brown.
- Also brush with some butter mixed with coriander leaves.
- Finally, serve butter naan hot with your favourite curry like Vegetable korma.
